Phase 1: STEM Speakers

For phase one of our project, we are bringing speakers from the field of STEM to speak at community meeting, a weekly ceremony we have on our campus.

Phase 2: College Trips

For phase two of our project, we intend to schedule four college visits to local colleges and universities with strong STEM programs: one per grade level at our middle school.

Phase 3: Science Fair 

Our culminating event is a science fair held on our campus in the spring.  Scholars from our campus will compete with projects they choose and design themselves.  We will collaborate with our science and math teachers to ensure that scholars have access to materials, guidance, and work time.
